Dr. Christina De Avila, ND CDE is focused on the spectrum of metabolic dysfunction associated with insulin resistance including obesity, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
She is a licensed naturopathic doctor by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She received her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine following completion of her honours degree in Human Biology and Physiology at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Christina De Avila, ND CDE is also passionate about health promotion and had the privilege to be part of medical brigades with Naturopaths Without Borders in Haiti and Natural Doctors International in Nicaragua. She continues to look for ways to bridge the gaps in healthcare and completed a post-graduate certificate program in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion, looking at the workplace as the perfect environment to promote voluntary health practices and cultivate healthy organizations and communities.
